RCN Naval Reserve Chooses Sailor of the Year

"Bravo Zulu" / April 10, 2014

Each week we celebrate the exploits of the exceptional men and women of your Navy from coast to coast.

We mark these outstanding achievements using the traditional naval signal for a job well done...

…Bravo Zulu!

Bravo Zulu to Master Seaman Donald Wilson, chosen as the Naval Reserve Sailor of the Year.

MS Wilson is the Deck Department Training Petty Officer at HMCS Brunswicker in Saint John, NB, and was awarded this honour for his exemplary professionalism, dedication, leadership, and overwhelming concern for his fellow sailors – qualities that have set him apart from his peers and subordinates. Undeniably a role model for all members within the Naval Reserve, MS Wilson joined in 2001 at the age of 45 and currently holds the record as Brunswicker’s oldest recruit.
