RCN civilians work hand in hand with their CAF colleagues

"Bravo Zulu" / June 19, 2014

Each week we celebrate the exploits of the exceptional men and women of your Navy from coast to coast.

We mark these outstanding achievements using the traditional naval signal for a job well done...

…Bravo Zulu!

Bravo Zulu to the civilians who contribute so much to the RCN, on the occasion of National Public Service Week – June 15th to 21th.

The theme of this annual celebration is “Proudly Serving Canadians”, which pays tribute to the work that civilian and military members do each day in service to Canada.

This unique and collaborative military-civilian relationship is especially strong in the RCN, with public servants working alongside our sailors every day in nearly every aspect of the Navy’s operations – getting our ships to sea and helping to keep them there, managing the daily administration and finances of our shore establishments and headquarters, and looking after the health and wellbeing of our members and their families.
