NEPTUNE TRIDENT Role: Bridge Watch Keeper in training onboard Her Majesty’s Canadian Ship (HMCS) Moncton.

Previous Deployments:  Operation NANOOK

Day job: steer the ship and make sure the Fleet Exercise Schedule is carried out; take charge of the ship and carry out the Captain’s intentions.

Why did you join the CAF: To travel and get more experience out of life other than schooling and a 9 to 5 job.

Why you have stayed in the CAF: The sense of accomplishment is far more satisfying than anything I’ve ever done.

Quote (NEPTUNE TRIDENT) Experience:  During my Maritime Surface Subsurface Officer (MARS) IV course,  my ship, the HMCS Saskatoon, was the first ship out of the west coast to cross the arctic circle since the 1940’s.
