"Bravo Zulu" / April 3, 2014

Each week we celebrate the exploits of the exceptional men and women of your Navy from coast to coast.

We mark these outstanding achievements using the traditional naval signal for a job well done...

…Bravo Zulu!

Bravo Zulu to Lieutenant(N) Kristina Gray, Range Safety Officer at Maritime Forces Pacific, and Master Seaman Gregory Fillmore, Assistant Range Safety Officer from HMCS Corner Brook, who represented the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) at Ice Exercise (ICEX) 2014 from March 15-24.

Canada, the United States and Britain took part in this international exercise, which was organized by the US Navy and conducted approximately 200 nautical miles north of Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. ICEX provided the RCN with a unique opportunity to further Canada’s understanding of submarine operations and equipment in the tough Arctic environment and to enhance partnerships with our submarine allies.
